The 6.0 update to Gravity Sketch || کشش ثقل کا خاکہ makes 3D creation even more user-friendly, and the creator is working on support for Apple’s Vision Pro.
I recently had a conversation with the CEO of Gravity Sketch, Seyi Sosanya, on the fundamental ideas that guided the creation of the software and motivated firms like Ford and New Balance to use it. Making it simple to use while still being strong enough to become a necessary component of a design workflow was the original intent.
We also discussed Apple’s headset and how developing for VR will need to change in light of its special characteristics. The Vision Pro will get Gravity Sketch.

You can quickly obtain what you need using the new quick-access toolkit. The main focus of this version is increased usability. Select a brush by pressing and dragging, use the paint tool to change the colour of an object, or switch to the arrow for precise movement and rotation.
A complex object can be designed in a much shorter amount of time with the help of quick access tools. Just as colour got more straightforward. You can rapidly select a sketching colour by looking at the palette on your left wrist (or right, if you like).
A brush library that displays drawing, surfacing, and 3D text possibilities in one panel is easily accessible when drawing. For a quicker start, you can also configure defaults.
Finally, the new Review mode is the ideal approach to introduce Gravity Sketch and 3D design tools to folks who are not familiar with them. To add as many new rectangular viewports as you want to a scene, squeeze the trigger. They can be moved around and have their zoom level changed.
A client or teammate can quickly switch between the pre-set viewports when they join in Review mode by tapping the joystick. They can use a laser pointer to discuss interesting regions on a model by highlighting it.
Apple Vision Pro and Gravity Sketch
Despite being a virtual reality experience, Sosanya stated that one of the guiding principles of Gravity Sketch is to mimic the physicality and immediacy of real life. As a result, tools are responsive and follow hand motion.
The beautiful thing about VR is that, unlike apps made for a flat screen, keyboard, and mouse, the user interface can be freely formed. Toolboxes and help documents can be floated or created in at any time. Although it’s a completely new method of working, setting up a workbench for a project makes it feel familiar.
User interface redesign is another essential component of Apple’s product development. The Vision Pro lacks controllers, unlike the majority of VR headsets. Instead, navigating the user interface only requires a quick glance along with a pinch, tap, or flick.
Few apps support Meta’s hand-tracking, which is a supplementary system. The hardware for eye and face tracking is built into the Quest Pro, although it has only ever been used to animate avatars or dynamically alter render quality (foveated rendering).
Sosanya noted that a paradigm shift in thinking will be necessary when creating apps for Apple’s Vision Pro. Despite the difficulty, the goal is to make Gravity Sketch accessible on every gadget that supports six degrees of freedom (6DoF), such as contemporary VR headsets, fully functional mixed reality gadgets, and upcoming AR glasses
